General FAQs
  • SmeSauda is an online platform for small medium businesses that provides deals and discounts, articles/expert advice on diverse business topics and vendor/merchant reviews. It enables companies (SMEs) to access discounted offers and deals for business products and services such as IT products, IT/web design services, office equipment, printing, logistics services etc.
  • Definitely. Your credit card number is transmitted by SSL directly to a secure electronic vault. At no time is your credit card information stored on our servers. The SSL protocol (used by leading international and national websites) ensures transmission security when data travels from our servers through payment gateways to your bank/card company’s servers.
  • Hopefully soon - we're growing fast. If you'd like to help us launch Smesauda in your city, feel free to contact us.

Deals FAQs
  • SmeSauda offers discount deals and value added offers in business products/services. These deals include discounts on products such as IT products, office equipment, software, office furniture and services such as IT maintenance, web- hosting, accounting, freight services among others. These discounts and offers have been got from our registered vendor base.
    Examples
    • A Computer wholesaler uses SmeSauda to provide discounts subject to a minimum group of five.
    • A IT maintenance and services company provides two weeks free IT maintenance for new customers.
  • After payment is successful, voucher is sent to your email and mobile no. If you can't see the voucher there, please contact us at support@smesauda.com
  • After the payment is successful, voucher is sent to your email and mobile no. Please show your Smesauda Voucher (Print) at the merchant location and pay the remaining amount.
  • To redeem the voucher printing is necessary. In future we would be introducing SMS to redeem the voucher.
  • Yes, you can buy more than 1 voucher unless the Deal Terms for any deal explicitly restrict the use of more than 1 voucher.
  • Most of our deals carry over 1 month validity, so you can use it at your leisure. But don't forget to check Deal Terms and voucher expiry dates.
  • No. All the customers are requested to redeem the voucher before it expires.
  • Most deals do not need a minimum number of buyers for the deal to be executed. However there are some deals where a minimum number of buyers are required for a deal to be executed. In these deals, the buyers who buy a voucher are completely refunded if the deal fails to attract a minimum number of buyers. The deal terms listed against the deal will clearly highlight if the deal has a minimum number of buyers cut-off. Again, the minimum buyer cut-off is only applicable for a small number of our deals.
  • There are two ways you can do this. If you have an existing purchase requirement in certain business products/services where we do not have deals listed, please use our RequestForDeal (RFD) functionality (developed in-house by SmeSauda.com!) to place your requirements. (Refer RFD FAQs for more details).

    If you have no existing requirements but would like to see deals in a particular business category, then please feel free to drop us an email at info@smesauda.com. We will evaluate your suggestions internally and take them forward if they are deemed feasible.
  • Currently we offer deals in NCR region. We will be launching in Bangalore and Chennai in a few months. Please visit www.smesauda.com to find deal in your area.

My Account & My Orders FAQs
  • Yes it’s necessary to have a SmeSauda account. There are free and paid membership options. You can purchase a voucher by just being a free registered member.
  • We've made it easy for you to view and update your account and orders any time through "My Account". "My Account" allows you complete control over your transactions at Smesauda. You can
    • manage/edit all your personal data like address, phone numbers, email ids.
    • change your password.
    • track the status of your orders.
    • Place Request For Deal (RFDs) for deal.
    • place vendor reviews on SmeSauda vendors whose product/services you have used.
    • refer our site to business associates and friends to earn referral credits which can be redeemed against membership fees or deal vouchers!
  • Paid members have multiple benefits including special deals and higher validity of deals which is available only for our paid members. Please visit the member registration page for a complete list of benefits provided to members.
  • Once your payment has been successfully made, your order is processed internally (and immediately). Smesauda will send a confirmation email for your order, to the email address associated with your Smesauda order/account. In this email you will have the coupon and details to redeem the deal from the merchant. You can also view the same under My vouchers area in My Account page after logging into our website.
  • If you would like to check the status of your order please login and click on 'My Account'. Click on your order to retrieve the order status of your item.
  • No, however you can use the "Inform me of such deals in future" feature in our website and we will let you know once a similar deal is available in our website.
  • The emails from Smesauda.com might be filtered into your SPAM folder or blocked. To ensure you receive our e-mails, please add deals@smesauda.com and support@smesauda.com to your address book or your safe sender list.

RFD (Request for Deal) FAQs
  • RFQ or Request for deal- If users do not find deals/offers in our website for their current requirements, they can use the Request a Deal (RFD option). In this option, they choose the product or service that they have current requirements in, specify budget, quantity (for products) and purchasing decision time. Our team adds up all similar requirements and contacts our registered vendors for deals/offers for the total purchase requirements across users with similar RFD requests. Due to this group buying concept, users are able to get deals/offers at discounted prices/additional benefits that would not be available directly to them.

    RFD feature is available only for our members. Basic members get to place 1 RFD request per quarter, Economy members get to place 3 RFD requests per quarter and Premium members get to place 5 RFD requests per quarter (3 months).
  • RFDs can be placed by filling up the RFD Form (RFD Link)

    Suppose you are interested in purchasing office chairs, but you do not see any such deal in our website.
    Step 1 - Simply Request For Deal in office chairs by filling up the RFD form
    Step 2 - Specify the product specification- office chairs with arm rest, swivel, and adjustable height,
    Step 3 - Budget, Rs 10000
    Step 4 - Quantity 7 pieces
    Step 5 - Decision time: 10 days.• place vendor reviews on SmeSauda vendors whose product/services you have used.
    Step 6 - We will match and add up similar office chairs and negotiate your requirement with our merchants/vendors and get a deal for you in most cases.

    Please note that we do not guarantee that we would be able to secure a deal for every RFD request that has been placed.
  • RFD requests can be modified within one day of submission of the RFD request by contacting support@smesauda.com. Please include the RFD ID in your communications to us. These modifications include modifying the quantity, product specifications and product/service category.
  • Cancellation of an existing RFD request is only allowed on at SmeSauda's discretion. The Request for cancellation of RFD request has to be submitted within one day of submission of the RFD request.

Payments FAQs
  • There are multiple payment options available:
    • Debit card (All leading bank debit cards are accepted)
    • Credit card (All Visa/ Master cards are accepted)
    • Netbanking (Internet enabled online bank account for all leading banks )
    • Cash on Delivery (Pay in cash on delivery, available on select deals)
  • SmeSauda processes all payments through leading payment gateways with stringent data protection practices. All the information is processed through a secured internet connection (SSL data encryption) which secures the data during transmission of payment information. Your company can securely transact on our site.
  • We accept Debit Cards of more than 50 banks
  • We accept payment through Internet Banking of all major banks like ICICI, HDFC, SBI, Axis etc.
  • Cash-on-Delivery (C-o-D) is an alternate method of purchasing from us, other than Online (By Credit/Debit card and Netbanking) and DD/Money Order. In the C-o-D payment terms or C-o-D service, you pay at the time of the actual delivery, rather than paying in advance.
  • COD orders are processed only under certain conditions. Please refer the next question for detailed terms of a COD purchase from smesauda.
  • 1. All deals that have the "Cash-on-Delivery Available" Icon are valid for order by Cash-on-Delivery. Add the deal(s) to your cart and proceed to checkout.
    2. Please make sure that the pin-code of the shipping address has COD facility. This can be easily done through the pin-code tool displayed in the specific offer page
    3. When prompted to choose a Payment Option, select "Pay By Cash-on-Delivery". Please refer (Refer COD Terms below)
    4. Enter CAPTCHA text as shown, for validation.
    5. You will receive a verification call by our customer support team to confirm the validity of the order
    6. Once verified, the COD order is shipped as per terms specified in the specific offer
    7. You will be required to make a Cash payment to our Courier Partner, only at the time of delivery of your order (Refer COD Terms below)
    8. The courier partner will give you the invoice and also take an acknowledgment from you about the receipt of the cash

  • Terms & Conditions
    • Cash On Delivery may not be available for certain items such as Software
    • The maximum order value for 100% COD is Rs. 15,000. Please make Cash Payment/Demand Draft at the time of delivery.
    • For Cash on Delivery Orders above Rs. 15,000, Demand Draft in favor of SMB Unisol Pvt Ltd will be accepted. Checks on Delivery are NOT Accepted currently by smesauda.com
    • For Cash on Delivery Orders above Rs. 15,000, a token amount of 10-20% of total value of the order (depending on product category) is required before we confirm the order. The balance 80%- 90% would be paid at the time of delivery (DD in favor of SMB Unisol Pvt Ltd).
    • Gift Vouchers or Store Credit cannot be used for C-o-D orders
    • smesauda reserves the right to modify the Cash on Delivery terms without prior notice
  • Yes, you can make the payment through demand draft. Please send/courier us the demand draft in favor of SMB Unisol Pvt Ltd well in advance of the deal expiry date. All demand draft should be sent to - SMB Unisol Pvt Ltd, 2nd Floor 198/30, Ramesh Market, East of Kailash, New Delhi 110019.

  • Currently we do not allow part payments in different mode of payments. Please pay the entire amount in one mode of payment.
  • Once your order has been placed an email will be sent to the email address you provided when signing up for your membership. This confirmation email will include your order number, the total order amount being charged to your credit card, and the method of payment you chose to use. You may also click on ‘My Account’ which will bring up your order history. By clicking on your ordered item(s) you may view your order and click on ‘Printable Version’ to print a copy of your order transaction.

Cancellations
  • No you cannot cancel or get a refund. If the merchant is unable to service the deal then we will refund the voucher amount completely. Please call us at 011-26475715 (10am to 12pm) or write to us at support@smesauda.com. Please read the 'Deal Terms' of each deal before buying the deal.

Merchant / Vendors FAQs
  • A complete check of the merchant and its product/services is done internally by our team. We ask for client references and seek their feedback on the merchant. We also have a physical visit to their office. Once all the terms have been met by the vendor then only is he added to our merchant database.
  • You can do so by using the merchant more info tab on the Merchant Page. We will forward the message to the merchant and get back to you shortly with the information.
  • Yes, the reviews and ratings present in SmeSauda are done by actual customers who have used the merchant’s products and services. We hope these reviews help our members make an informed buying decision when they transact at SmeSauda.com
  • We take such issues very seriously. Please call at 011-26475715 or email us at support@smesauda.com. We will do a complete investigation of your complaint. Post the successful validation of your complaint, we will completely refund your voucher value.
  • Customer reviews should be relevant to the deal in question. The dealt review section on smesauda.com is for you to share your opinion on the deal, and for other customers to research better. smesauda.com reserves the right to remove reviews that include any of the following:

    • Non relevant review (Review consisting of a combination of random characters, random words, repeated content, and reviews on another deal).
    • Service feedback, order or payment related queries (Please use the Contact Us form for the same).
    • References to other retailers.
    • Comments related with price.
    • Personal information (Phone numbers, postal address, email address and others).
    • Abusive comments.
    • Copyrighted comments.
    • Promotional content.
    • Reviews by or on behalf of a person or company with a financial interest in the deal or a competitor's deal (reviews by authors, artists, publishers, manufacturers without disclosure).
    • Reviews written for any form of compensation.
    • Reviews given using fake ids, irrelevant user email ids.
    • Asking for helpful votes.
    • Feedback about errors in the deal description (Please use the Feedback Form page).
